Bidrage med feedbackBeautiful wood fired pizza and Italian food. They also make their own pasta. Bolognese was exceptional, noodles perfectly cooked. We got 3 different pizzas, Margherita, Salsiccia and Montanara. Every distinctively different and delicious. The lasagna with sausage was excellent. The San Marzano tomato sauce was perfect. Even the bread was well made. Would have been nice if the olive oil had been infused with herbs for bread. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant itself looks like nothing special on the outside, but beautiful on the inside. Tastefully elegant, without going overboard. There is a bar and outdoor seats with an outdoor fireplace.
This facility offers the best of the best ingredients locally fresh and flown directly from Italy. Really something for everyone here. Do not just think about the off-charts delicious wooden fire pizza, Il Pizzaiolo is so much more than that. The Antipasto Napoli offers a delicious blend of perfectly seasoned and grilled vegetables for the vegan and gluten-free diner. As General Manager Jason B. Grant explained, the buffalo mozzarella, Burrata and Ricotta are freshly flew from Italy. I had the pleasure of experiencing the light as a feather, homemade spinach and ricotta filled tortellini in a light cream sauce. These turbid mortars practically float from the plate. And of course, you should not cost the generous meal size Tutto Polpette (meat balls) appetizer. Sarah Kennedy, the Master-Mixologe, has applied her craft skillfully, with her signature Basil Pear Martini. All in all, a real jewel in the hills of O’Hara Township. Sure deserves a 10-star rating!
Fantastic pizza in a beautiful room. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is a jewel of a restaurant. The pizza is the best authentic Italian pizza in the city, and its pasta dishes are also excellent. The gnocchi is almost fluffy. The sauces are subtle and bright. If you only go once, get the Margherita DOC Pizza. It is traditional and fresh and amazing.
Delightful Italian experience. Elegant ambience, friendly service and delicious Italian cuisine. A pleasant surprise!
My wife and I, along with our best friends’ family, stopped in for dinner a couple weeks back. We were a large group and we were given a very generous table in the front of the restaurant and were treated by the hostess and wait staff in a very cordial and welcoming manner. We had previously only eaten outside during the summer but enjoyed the atmosphere inside as well. Our appetizers and desserts were outstanding and were generous in portion size; however, the entrees stole the show. They were perfectly prepared and presented and they were large enough for a second meal the next day (which was amazing as well). The most enjoyable part of the dinner was when the Operator, Jason Grant, stopped to talk with us for a moment. He made us feel very welcome, explained the dishes for some of us, and he made such an impact in us that we will be back regularly and with more and more friends. We all get the same and we’re talking about our experience for the last couple weeks.
