Bidrage med feedbackYesterday we had lunch at the Glengarry Pub to celebrate a family birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We rang in the morning to book in for 14 of us , the booking was cheerfully taken by Barnsy the new owner of the place who made us feel welcome before we even got there .when we arrived shortly after noon our table was set up and water and glasses were soon in place.A good selection to choose from and even though it was a bit hectic when we first arrived as there was another big group celebrating there also our food was soon on the table .All enjoyed there meals which were very substantial and quite tasty, definitely nobody left hungry. It was nice that Barnsy took the time and came to the table to wish the birthday girl happy 89th. Birthday.A nice country pub in the nice little town of Glengarry , it is a very relaxed sort of venue, no one in a hurry, there is a little play room for the kids which is good , the kids there enjoyed it.The wood burning heater gave the place a nice homely feel.the new owners are doing a great job to lift the profile of the place and we wish them all the best in the future.Give it a try and enjoy the experience. It may be an idea to book as we have heard it is becoming very popular for dinner especially on the weekend.
Our local pub has changed hands, wow what a difference, the new owners have made some vast improvements and more to come, its now a very warming and relaxing atmosphere where you can mix with the locals and enjoy a great meal, a cold drink and good old fashion hospitality, great job guys.
What a great hotel , beautiful meals great price and very friendly service ,try this place for a great experience .
I am truly impressed by the improvement in service and quality at the Glengarry Hotel since new ownership took over. We have dined at the restaurant twice since the change and have been delighted by the delicious meals, reasonable prices, and quick service even during busy times. With the addition of lunch and dinner service, we are excited to return for more meals at the Glengarry Hotel.
Food quality varies. Hard to get a smile or a decent conversation out of the old lady behind the bar. Place is very outdated and boring lacking aesthetic character that you would expect from a country pub. It needs new life.
