Bidrage med feedbackI recently dined at this restaurant and tried the fettuccine alfredo. Wow! This dish is truly one for the history books. The sauce was unlike any other I have ever tasted, ranking it in my top 3 pasta dishes of all time. The portion size was generous, leaving everyone with leftovers except for me as I was too full to resist. For an appetizer, I ordered the calamari and shrimp which had a great texture and delicious sauce. I also tried crème brûlée and tiramisu for the first time, with the tiramisu having a unique layer on top that added a fun element to eating it. The outdoor seating was equipped with heaters, making it a pleasant experience for those who get cold easily. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit, making for a great dining experience. Overall, this location is fantastic with welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. Note that parking is not free but definitely worth it.
I arrived for lunch at noon and was disappointed to find that my favorite appetizer, calamari, was not available. However, 20 minutes later, two women sat down behind me and ordered calamari, which was served to them within 10 minutes. I couldn't help but wonder why the dish was available for them but not for me.
I have driven past Plate Petal many times and always admired the beautiful flower walls on their outdoor dining patio. Finally, I had the chance to have lunch there and it exceeded my expectations. The seafood salad I ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious. The decor, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu. Also, be sure to park in the parking lot next to the restaurant instead of on the street.
The every dishes we ordered was great. Service was very attentive and caring, too, though a bottle of the sparkling water we ordered was kind of flat and we were surprised that they didn't offer a replacement bottle or comp it. (I guess that particular brand of sparkling water must be less carbonated than the brand we were used to. For desserts, we walked over to the glass showcases at the bakery side of the restaurant and picked what we want, and they brought them over to our table. We visited Wed night and pretty much the only customers inside, which tells you that this is a hidden gem in Glendale. I'd rather come here than over-priced restaurants in Americana because the parking alone is less crowded here. The patio seating looked nice if it was warmer night (There were heaters , but smokers were sitting there while we visited. Parking is available both sides of the restaurant for about $1/hour.
Everything was wonderful. Bacon wrapped dates were the best we’ve ever had. Out of this world fabulous! We also had the beet salad, salmon desserts which were a blueberry tart a chocolate cherry cake. Everything was so good! Coffee was great too. Service was superb.
