All India Cafe Glendale

The cured lamb was very mild, and we were not even asked if we wanted it mild, medium or hot. the papadum comes with only a rather boring chutney, which was more of an salsa-like mixture. we were in many Indiana restaurants, both here and in england, and this was missing. the waitress was excellent, friendly and helpful and the ambiente good.

My first try of Indian cuisine. Thought it was unusual to have to pay for rice. it would be preferrable to raise the price by $2 and include it with the meal.

Great experience and great food! Service is so pleasant and the food is outstanding! The menu selections are marked with Gluten Free notes which is perfect for me . A gluten free foodie like myself appreciates the offer and effort. The food is outstanding. Look forward to going back to try more items!

There are quite a few Indian restaurants in Southern California and we have visited a lot of them. All India Cafe rates in our top three (maybe not the top, Ashoka in San Diego is still the best). However the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the two video screens showing Bollywood movies was quite entertaining. Parking is painless, there is a public lot just behind the restaurant and other lots close by. Overall it was quite an enjoyable experience, I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone even if they were unfamiliar with Indian cuisine.

The food was decent; nothing special. Service could use some improvement. At one point there were more service staff than patrons in the restaurant and we were still slow to receive the waitstaff’s attention
