The coffee was enjoyable and the avocado on toast was delicious. It was a perfect way to start the morning, especially if you need a quick bite before work. The location near the train station is convenient for commuters. The company was also great.

Amalia is a café situated in the Beatty Avenue shopping precinct in Armadale, near Toorak Train Station. The shopping area used to be quite empty 5-10 years ago, but now it boasts several popular brunch spots. The café recently changed owners within the past year, and I had been eager to visit and taste their offerings for a while.

Amalia has recently been taken over by new management and I highly recommend paying a visit soon! This cozy café has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for your daily coffee fix, with the staff getting to know you on a personal level in no time. And don't forget to try the delicious mushroom hollandaise!

Today, my friend and I enjoyed the sunshine in Rose St at Cafe Amalia1st time, it was not referred to me from a friend, found it on Urbanspoon and coerced my friend to try itThe owner was so hospitable, the hot chocolate was nice, my friend said his cappuccino was really goodAnd both of us found the food refreshing, deliciouswith the next door alarm going off to the frustration of the owner, he kindly said we can go inside to reduce the noise of the alarmwhat a great find.. will certainly return for a dinner or breakfast or another lunchI urge all to really try this beautiful cafe in Rose St Armadale

Simple but quite sophisticated menu, different to nearby cafés with originality and flair, good little wine list, great atmosphere, great coffee, great service.
