Riviera Grill - Glen Cove

This restaurant was so beautiful, it's a shame it closed down.

I am incredibly saddened to see this restaurant shutting down. It was truly the top Italian restaurant in town. The food and service were consistently outstanding. We will definitely miss them. Many reviews mention the Owner being extremely rude and rushing people out ,which is why it's taken me so long to visit. Tired of the restaurants in this area and wanted to try something new, so I gave it a whirl . My only complaint is we sat for about 10 min with no menu . The food is amazing , service besides the menu part) was good . Prices are actually very fair, I estimated the bill to be way higher than it was so I was very happy when I saw it . Heavy pour on the wine ! I would definitely return , didn't have any issues with the owner but I also visited on a Thursday at 8:30 pm . I'm assuming weekends and Fridays are much busier . Ps love the little appetizer plate they give you with the bread attached in photos)

It's closing on October 30. We are devastated. It has been our favorite Glen Cove restaurant for many years. It all has to do with a dispute among the management. Highly unfortunate for the community.

Inconsistent quality,,, this time I ordered fillet of bronzino and it was full of bones. I could not eat it. I told the waiter and I never got a replacement yet I was charged for the plate. I guess it was picked over enough to look like I ate it?? The octopus was tuff this time too.
