Daily Bagel Plus - Glen Cove

I was in Glen Cove last Sunday looking for a deli to cook up some eggs and ham or bacon so I stopped in Daily Bagels Plus (despite the For Rent sign prominently displayed on the front window . When I entered the store I saw what seemed to be a mature husband and wife team behind the counter. (Probably the same couple that Franco C referred to in his First to Review dated 5/18/09 as the nice elderly couple that apparently own the place. That 's over 10 years ago! There was not a customer in sight and less than 20 bagels in a small glass display case at the counter. I doubt they 're baked on premises and echo Franco C review comment, find it hard to believe that any bagel has been baked there in a long, long time. I saw a grill and a large carton of eggs next to it so I decided to take a chance and ordered 2 eggs over easy with bacon on a plate. The woman said $4 and I agreed. When I started to take my money out of my wallet the man said either $4 or $6! I honestly don 't remember, but the point is that it was higher than what the woman just told me and we agreed to! She hadn 't started to cook the eggs yet so I told them both forget it and I walked out. Look ... I understand that English isn 't their native language, but I expect to be able to communicate with store owners and their help at some basic level. As a consumer we have alternatives!

Hi guys this is yunonfinity barbershop on 26 glen street i love going to bagel plus the bagels are made on premises the owner is really kind the bagels are delicious try egg and cheese and than u will love me its really good for a nice price...
