Bidrage med feedbackThe best cafe in Glebe for me. The coffee is awesome and people are really lovely. It has cozy atmosphere, too. I will definitely visit again.
A great little local café, serving arguably the best coffee in Glebe. If you've ever spent time in Italy, you'll know what I mean! The pastries are delicious; especially anything with ricotta inside. The ambience and welcome are warm and friendly, even when the place is busy, which it often is. Sitting outside in the sunshine, enjoying a freshly made piadina is one of the real joys of living in Glebe. Note to the woman who accused the staff of being so rude: It's not acceptable to take up valuable table space to eat the food you brought from home in ANY cafe! They're running a business and have every right to ask you to leave. Suggest you go eat in the park next time...
One of the best Italian cafes in Glebe! You can count on getting a truly authentic Italian breakfast here. The Piadina for lunch is toasted perfectly. The coffee is superb, and the friendly Italian owners always greet you warmly.
I visited Il Cortile for my first-ever piadina, as I had heard great things about them. They are not only delicious but also a unique find. The menu offers a good variety, similar to what you would find at a traditional pizza place. I opted for the special with bresaola, zucchini, and ricotta, minus the semi-dried tomatoes. Piadina is an Italian flatbread that is lightly folded and toasted, with simple yet tasty fillings inside. The combination of hot fillings, flavorful bresaola, and creamy ricotta made for a light yet satisfying meal. In addition to piadina, they also offer healthier, lighter options and freshly made juices. However, the coffee and piadina are a winning combination that will keep you satisfied and content. There's no need to look any further for a delightful dining experience.
Upon entering, I immediately felt transported to southern Italy, savoring coffee and losing track of time. The atmosphere had a dreamy quality to it, with loaves of bread hanging overhead and a tempting array of pastries on display in the glass cabinet. My companion and I decided to sit down for breakfast and ordered the fruit sourdough and Dolce ricotta, both of which were delicious. While this place seems more geared towards takeout, we thoroughly enjoyed our sit-down meal amidst the cozy ambiance of this hidden gem. I relished my breakfast here and look forward to returning to try more of their delectable pastries in the future.
