2 Hopewell Bistro - Glastonbury

Best restaurant in Glastonbury! My husband and I love coming here. Only downside is it’s definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for!

Hosted a birthday dinner for the husband last night and everything was absolutely exceptional. From the space, to the service, to the quality of the food, everything was absolutely top notch. Shout out to our server Pam who handled 20+ of us without missing a single beat. Worth of even more than 5 stars!

Enjoyed a fantastic dinner with friends at 2 Hopewell last evening. It was my first time visiting, however the other guests were regulars. I reviewed the menu before arriving, but quickly changed my mind when I learned of the specials.There were several reasons I give this restaurant a 5 star rating. First is the service. Our waiter provided first class service. He was there when needed and allowed us to enjoy our meal. He didn't rush us. I have been fortunate to enjoy many fine dining experiences, and even in high end restaurants I am often rushed. Here we enjoyed our meal and conversation, as we would have in our home. The drinks and the food were outstanding. Compliments to the chef and bartender!Ambiance was also very good -warm and relaxing. We ate in the tavern and also enjoyed music while we ate. Space is a bit tight, but that didn't affect our experience.I know this is a popular restaurant, so be sure to make reservations.

Server very good.Kitchen very slow, inconsistent. Sea bass excellent,Cioppino missing ingredients,lobster.Very dark,1 candle per table for 4,could see what we were eating.Very loud, no soft materials to absorb noise.Will not return.

Great food and service the room we were in was a little warm which took away from our experience.
