The Italian Caffe - Glasgow City

The food was just average and the service was not great. We used a 5pm Big Deal voucher, which was not a good deal at all. We ordered meatballs and bruschetta for starters, but the waiter forgot to bring the parmesan we requested. My husband found a bone in his meatballs and my bruschetta was just okay. It took a long time for our waiter to bring another glass of wine and our mains. My lasagne was tasty but plain, with no side dishes offered. My husband's fish and chips were fine. When we asked for the bill, we were charged the full amount, even though we booked through a 5pm Big Deal link. The waiter seemed annoyed when we pointed this out. Overall, there are better restaurants nearby with friendlier staff. We would not return to this restaurant.

Lovely, friendly serving staff who were great with the kids who were with us. Bright, spacious restaurant which had a nice, busy atmosphere in the early evening in January. We all enjoyed the food which was delicious.

I was here yesterday with four of my friends. My friend had been before and suggested it. We all loved it. Great place, the food was lovely, great service and friendly staff.

The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff were pleasant. It was great value for money. A party of fifteen people of different ages all enjoyed their meal.
