Bidrage med feedbackI revisited this restaurant for nostalgic reasons, as I used to frequent it in the late 90s. It is still as beautiful as I remember, and the menu is quite good. The waiting staff are friendly, laid-back, and competent. The location is, of course, fantastic. The coffee is decent, although not outstanding. I do miss the unique mural of God passing Adam a coffee. The restaurant feels a bit cramped and crowded now, with too many tables in a small space.
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, we dined al fresco at the restaurant. Our main courses and drinks were served quickly, but the food was just average. We ordered two apple crumbles with ice cream, but one dessert didn't arrive until 12 minutes later, and the second one took 30 minutes to come out after the first. The kitchen claimed they made a mistake but never apologized or took responsibility. The incorrect dessert was still on our bill, leaving us feeling very disappointed.
This place has gone completely downhill. I've been a customer in here for years and I won't be back after the service I have received today. The waitresses were inattentive. We had to ask for cutlery after our food was served. We had to ask for drinks twice. When the bill came we had been overcharged. The waitress stood over us with the card machine impatiently, probably because she didn't want to give us time to check the bill. It was utter rudeness. I don't know if this place has changed hands, but it's definitely not the place it used to be.
Ok if pricey focaccia spoiled by the ludicrously grumpy manager. One of the waitresses seemed pleasant though.
Lovely friendly staff. Kids ' meals great way to keep kids entertained. Make your own pizza , drinks and ice cream served. Minestrone soup lovely too. Definitely worth a visit
