Henleys Byre - Glasgow City

Popped in today for the first time in many years and was delighted to see that its as good as ever. Friendly service, delicious food and the best cup of tea I've ever had in a cafe. The music they had on was an extra nice touch older style Christmas classics rather than the nightmarish playlists on in most shops right now. Perfect place to recharge in the middle of a busy day!

The breakfast at this restaurant is of high quality. All the items were hot and delicious. It was a bit disappointing that there was no option for a double breakfast, but overall it wasn't a big issue. Thank you.

I stopped by for a sandwich and soup. The food was delicious, but the staff didn't seem very interested in engaging with customers. I placed my order and the food was brought to me without any interaction. When I went to pay, the cashier was preoccupied and I had to actively seek someone's attention to process my payment. Perhaps it was just an off day for them. The cafe was pleasant, but I think the staff could improve their customer service by being more attentive.

I am rarely in Glasgow but had an appointment today and was early so walked up Byres Rd looking for a place to have lunch. Popped in here....the lentil soup was lovely and very reasonably priced as was the egg mayonnaise sandwich. This place is bright and clean and I had prompt service. I'd definitely go back again. And I recommend it. They have a couple of tables outside too. And there was a very good selection on the menu. Top marks!
