Cafe Strange Brew - Glasgow

My experience at the restaurant was lovely. There was a long wait, but it was definitely worth it. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in until we left. The food was delicious and flavorful, although a few others, including myself, thought it was a bit oily. If they could reduce the amount of oil used, it would greatly improve the overall dining experience.

The cafe is absolutely amazing with friendly staff and delicious food. The music was not too loud, but there was some noise coming from the kitchen. The chorizo hash was perfectly cooked with roasted golden carrots and chorizo slices, just the right amount of cheese, and perfect seasoning. The green peppers added extra flavor to the dish and kept it from being too heavy. The lemon curd blueberry cheesecake was also perfect - not too sour and not too rich, with a perfectly balanced sweetness. It was a creative touch to keep the cheesecake spreadable instead of solidifying it. The matcha latte was good, although it was a bit clumpy because the matcha powder was not completely mixed in. The waiter recommended adding vanilla syrup to balance out the bitterness. The cortado was a good option for those who don't want a full cup of coffee or a lot of caffeine.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast with friendly staff, delicious food, and affordable prices. They offer many vegan options, and the portion sizes are generous. The dishes we tried, including the vegan burrito, vegan breakfast bap, and granola, were all delicious and well-seasoned. The coffee was also excellent, and a great deal at only £2 for a long black. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing, quality food. Great portion sizes. Food was presented beautifully. Loved the layout and the look of the shop. Staff absolutely went over and above expectations with their beautiful hospitality, chattiness and friendliness. Nothing was too much to ask. Been a long while since I’ve tried coffee that tastes that delicious too! However.. I did ask for a hazelnut latter and was just given an ordinary latte which initially was disappointing but ended up the coffee was so tasty I didn’t need much sugar. Or possibly it was sweetened with a bit of syrup but I certainly did not taste it. I am a bit of a nerd for coffee so I’m funny when people get my order wrong though I’ve got to say in this occasion everything else was spectacular so I couldn’t take any stars off as mistakes happen. Also one of the menu items had “extra items” listed underneath-I presumed this meant another version of the sandwich for people that didn’t like avocado etc. This meant I had to send the sandwich back as I can’t stand avocado. The woman serving me was an absolute diamond and explained what had happened and couldn’t apologize enough for the misunderstanding. In hind sight I probably skim read and should have been more clear when asking for what I wanted. They made me a new sandwich super quick. I ended up only eating half of it despite how delicious it was because it was so filling! Made a great lunch for later in the day reheated thank you cafe strange brew staff, I’ll definitely be back

It is an amazing caffe! the menu loved, and eating was just perfect ahhh it totally recommended. super nice staff and the place was so nice first and not the last time!
