Bidrage med feedbackCafé Andaluz is conveniently situated and offers Spanish cuisine. The restaurant caters mainly to meat-eaters, with limited vegan choices available. I decided to try three tapas dishes, all of which were enjoyable but not particularly unique.
I requested a vegetarian/vegan menu but was informed that they did not have one. They offered to modify a few veggie tapas by removing the cheese or sauce to make them vegan. Despite repeatedly requesting that three dishes be made vegan due to my dairy allergy, they still contained cheese. I would not recommend this restaurant for vegans as the options are limited and not catered towards us.
Located in a convenient central location in Glasgow, this restaurant offers a variety of vegan options which the attentive staff are happy to confirm with you. The food is flavorful and the service is friendly, although we were checked on multiple times during our meal, which may have been a bit excessive. The only drawback to note is that the ambiance can vary depending on where you are seated, as the restaurant features traditional Spanish meat displays, including items still on the bone.
I couldn't get a table here on Friday night as not booked, always the same in caffe andaluz, but I think that speaks volumes. managed to get an early table for Saturday. service was excellent, we have to share for seafood paella and garlic brot. was delicious. the menu has something for everyone. have eaten in the caffe andaluz a series of times now and never fail to impress them. recommend a visit here, but book in advance.
We always go to cafe andaluz during the festive season for their seafood paella. service is good, usually eat very good and ambiente is beautiful.
