The Chicken Palace Gibson St - Glasgow

Thought it was a bit expensive at first but when we saw the buy one get one free “offer” we thought why not… how wrong could we be. Only one of the meals was sent but full price charged only one juice as we hadn’t ordered any more due to expecting 2 meals ordered 5 pieces of chicken and only 3 turned up, 2 dips and only 1 turned up. To top it off the cheesy onion rings had no cheese and the chilli cheese nuggets had a mysterious macaroni nugget in there not that fussed about the nugget but how can you get it so wrong!!

I was feeling quite hungry and craving something delicious and tasty. At first, I considered Kentucky Fried Chicken, but then I remembered their new fries, which turned me off. Still wanting chicken, I searched for alternatives and came across this place. I ordered a sharing bucket with 10 pieces of chicken, 4 fries, a side, and a 1.25 litre beverage, opting for full fat Pepsi. The order arrived quickly, and the fries were perfect - a delicious potato snack. The fried chicken was juicy, crispy, and filled with moisture, leaving me completely satisfied. I will definitely be ordering from here again, craving more!

My hubby and I have been regulars to this place but this time I have to say that things seem different. Not sure if there has been a change of ownership but although the food still of good quality the atmosphere and friendliness was not the same.

If you can't decide between peri peri or fried chicken, this restaurant is the perfect solution. I visited on a Friday night and ordered a family peri peri meal with extra fried chicken and desserts. The girl at the counter was helpful and informed me of a deal that I could take advantage of by changing my order slightly. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the chips were freshly made. Overall, the food tasted great, was quick, and affordable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a budget-friendly takeaway or delivery option.

My hubby and I had a £10 Groupon chicken bucket and for a change chose to sit in to eat some of it. Again couldn't fault the quality of the chicken and chips which were all freshly made and served by a very pleasant assistant.
