Nick's Italian Grill and Bar - Glasgow

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but the service was slow, especially considering we only had one course each. The meatballs were bland and both the meatballs and spaghetti were only lukewarm. The pizzas had a thick crust and were overloaded with cheese, making it too overpowering. It was difficult to taste the different cheeses. Even with a voucher, the subpar food was disappointing. If the food was improved, it could be a great place to dine.

The service was friendly and the food was delicious! We ordered the parmesan cheese wheel pasta with sautéed mushrooms and pancetta. We used a voucher which made the value even better, but I would gladly pay full price for the generous portions and tasty food.

First time in here tonight, have to say I'm **** impressed. Laid back little neighborhood bar come Italian restaurant. The food was marvellous, I'd ordered the Italian Stallion pizza and whilst it was delicious, if I have one small gripe it would be the nduja sausage on said pizza or lack thereof, there wasn't a lot at all, perhaps a little mean on portion to pizza ratio. Other than this very small niggle the place was faultless. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The decor is cool and comfortable. Oh, they play a great mix of old classic music from Stevie wonder to Rod Stewart which adds to the ambiance. My fiancee and I can't wait to come back to sample more of the lovely menu. Great effort from this place.

I absolutely loved it! I used an Itison voucher for a main course and a make-your-own sundae. I highly recommend asking for the vegan menu. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I will definitely be returning.

Had a nice meal in very comfortable surroundings. Will be back
