Cafezique - Glasgow

This spot has a good location, however the service and food let it down. We were seated upstairs and were forgotten about. A lengthy period went by before we finally managed to catch the eye of a downstairs waiter who came and took our order. Coffee was nice but the food disappointing and read better on the menu than it tasted. We ordered eggs florentine the bed of spinach was shredded do finely it was like grass. The vegan breakfast was also disappointing. The beans were stone cold on one side and hadn’t been reheated properly and unfortunately the smashed avocado tasted like it had vinegar through it rather than lemon. We were asked if we enjoyed our meal but sadly it came across as though the waiting staff genuinely weren’t interested. Overall disappointing.

Good Flat White Decaf and atmosphere. Shakshuka £11.50, just not the way I like it. Eggs overcooked, sauce thick and full of spice. Other breakfast, Avo toast with crab and egg was enjoyed.

Great food and service for lunch. The food is quite unusual and is very tasty. Think it is quite good for veggies and vegans. Always busy, but the tables seem to turn around quickly. They are dog friendly as well both inside and out which is good. They serve coffee etc but also serve beer and wines as well.

Casual with great food and service. Lots of choice of familiar meals with their own twists. love it!
