Bidrage med feedbackWell, I didn’t plan to dine here but this is what happens when my flight left Toronto 4:45 hours late due a de-fueling requirement and the snow storm that moved in overnight. Located on the 3rd floor of Vancouver International Airport, this place is only one of 5 eateries. Apparently, there are more choices after checking in to your airline. I chose 2 items with rice and a bottle of Coke for a total of $14.46. The food and service was good. Now, what do I do for the next 10 hours?!
Decent portions. Decent food for fast food. Reasonable price for airport. It seems the Sushi place beside it is never open : would have been my first choice.
I actually enjoyed my food here, despite the other reviews. Yes it is over salted, but which mall food court Chinese food stall isn't? If you came here expecting better than a mall food court experience (which is exactly what this place looks and is priced like), then of course you would be disappointed. The crispy chicken with Thai sauce was actually crispy, the curry chicken was standard Chinese yellow curry, my fried rice was a bit softer than I would like, and the beef stirfry is also pretty standard for Canadian Chinese food. Decent portion and ok price point (9.99$ for 3 entree combo comes with rice and noodles) for airport food, I would eat here again considering the other options available (that isn't a sandwich or wrap).
Best Congee I have ever had. Friendly service too!
