Bidrage med feedbackWent there twice during their opening hours : once at 11:00 (waited around for 15-20 minutes then left) and another time at 15:30. Both times doors were shut. Is this place ever open? Never going back again regardless of what people say. Read other Yelp reviews and I 'm glad to know that I 'm not missing much. How this place manage to stay in business is beyond belief; maybe it 's just a front for something else? No sandwich or drink is worth waiting around for an hour.
If you've ever wanted to try Korean-style egg drop sandwiches, then you need to check out Luckful Nest in Steveston! Garlic Prawn Cheese Sandwich (8.5) This sandwich features eggs, cheese, and delicious garlic prawn. Their honey mustard sauce added the perfect amount of acidity and creaminess. To tie it all together, the fluffy buttered and toasted milk bread really offered the perfect canvas for these ingredients to shine. I was definitely impressed and highly recommend giving this sandwich a try! Luckful Avo Sandwich (8.5) This sandwich was so thick and satisfying! It's stuffed full with creamy eggs, cheese, and beautiful fresh slices of avocado. The sauce offered a tangy sweetness that made the sandwich even more scrumptious! Lemon Flower Fruit Tea (5.75) I personally really enjoyed this fruit tea because the herbal taste didn't overpower the fruitiness! It's sweet and refreshing. These sandwiches are perfect to take out in a picnic to Garry Point Park to enjoy with a view
Most of the time I go, it is closed although online the store is listed as open. There is a sign placed near the window saying they are open, but their doors are locked. When their doors are open, there will not be anyone standing near the checkout counter so nobody knows if there is anyone there. We had to call them out one time. Another time, we did not even bother calling for anyone because there was nobody outside at the counter and it makes them look like they are not serving anyone. This unprofessionalism from the cashier leads to customers making assumptions and leaving, thus they are losing money. Wait time is ridiculously long as well. Although the food is good, it is not likely I will visit here often, especially since I am disappointed every time with either long wait times or the store being closed without giving clear notice. Very unprofessional store. They make themselves look like they are open but actually closed. How misleading is that? They should update their business hours if they will continue to run like this and mislead everyone.
Read Yelp reviews and had high expectations, just avoid it, really, avoid it. We were the only two customers, they brought 1 sandwich after 15 minutes, when asked about the second one they said another 15 min. The sandwich is just a scrambled egg topped with avocado and a sauce, really nothing special, I cando much, much better at home for far less.
Cute little shop. had the spicey chicken egg sandwich. egg was nice. bread was thick, nice and soft. chicken was chunky little big and made eating slightly difficult but was still delicious. spiciness level was very mild at around 1/5 so don't expect any pain/heat to be a flavor.shop was cutie little shop with only 1 sit in table. but probably more worth it to couple the experience enjoying the beautiful steveston harbour or the neighbouring Park. little expensive at 12 dollars but it was worth it to try imo. i would highly recommend to come on a sunny day.
