It's ok for a foodcourt eatery.Add $2 for fresh-squeezed Lemon tea:
In short, food not too fresh .Sashimis should not be fresh anyway as they need to be frozen for weeks to kill off harmful bacteria. But you get my meaning.Just by looking at the color of the Hokkigai (surf clams), they don 't look too normal. Normal Hokkigai has red tip and yellowish beige body , mine (both pieces) look weird (see picture). I am no expert when it comes to sashimis, but my gut feeling say they are a couple of cans short of a sixpack. This also applies to the tuna meat texture that also came with the Chirashi Don 雜錦刺身飯 . It 's unusual. 20+ years eating in Genki Sushi 元氣壽司 and Sushiro 壽司郎 makes me think so. To top it off, considering the negative reviews here, that makes it even more compelling.I won 't be back. I don 't wanna risk getting food poisoning. ? I have already experienced food poisoning a few times eating in less reputable restaurants. It 's just too painful!
There was this huge Gachapon machine inside Aberdeen Centre and you needed to spend a minimum of $15 to play the Gachapon machine, so we bought some lunch for ourselves at Aji Hana.$15 was easily spent at Aji Hana. Food was fairly reasonably priced for a food court and for today's standards. I quite enjoyed my Avocado cone sushi. It was generously stuffed with avocado. They're a decent place for sushi if you're in Aberdeen and want something quick satisfying.
