Auberge du Vieux Moulin - Giverny

Went here because it was given a good review by lonely planet, but its really not woth it. Looks nice from the outside, and the wait staff was friendly...

An incomparable location, a restaurant in a house on a hill next to the garden of Monet. Inside is picturesque with many seating options, I went naturally for the outdoor terrace area. We went for brunch and it had a good menu, just stuff your hungry American face with one of the delicious buckwheat crepe options and enjoy the landscape. Of what I remembered the service was decent, no real complaints, except it is tourist price, but that is to be expected. I wish I could add a half-star.

Change of ownership this year. The restaurant room was rebuilt as well as the bar and the group room. Fresh and home products, a menu at 26,90 euros (flat) with a choice on the menu. Beautiful terrace. To discover!

Après avoir réservé pour 8 personnes le 30 mai 2016 pour 12 H 30,Nous avons trouvé le restaurant fermé et à l'abandon. Nous avions eu confirmation de la réservation par mail et par sms. Le site doit être mis à jour pour éviter à d'autres personnes de se retrouver devant cette situation après 100 km de route.

Excellent accueil, personnel qualifié et très sympathique, toujours à votre disposition.Cuisine de qualité.Vivement recommandé.
