The Rivers - Gisborne

Went for group lunch. Nice Kai. Enjoyed my afternoon. We all ordered different plates, all really nice. Good service. Update: Super busy, but the staff handled it like champs . I can't say anything bad about my meal or the entrees, but 1 of my guest sent his plate back as it wasn't cooked properly. No biggie, no drama. Good vibes at The Rivers.

Very busy place. Good food and reasonably priced. On street parking which can mean a short walk. Good menu with board specials. Pleasant staff under the pump.

Always great value for money and fantastic service. We love it as a family friendly venue with loads of atmosphere and central to everything. Gorgeous views over the river and lots of different styles of seating. Love this place. Love the board specials as well as the comprehensive everyday menu!

I was at this place only one. It was good but not great for me. The staff was nice, the atmosphere ok the good was good. Maybe I'm to picky. Lol You can park around the corner there are some parking places.

I am here several times and his fave restaurant in gisborne. the minute steak is delicious if you can treat a large steak, highly recommended. the atmosphere is beautiful, interesting and the personal is welcoming and friendly. 10/10
