Doko Smoke Bbq West - Gilmer

So I just stopped by here on my way home because I saw it was open, and I’m so glad I did. The lady at the register was super nice and gave my three year old some antlers while we were waiting on our to-go order.I got a two meat plate with brisket and Boudain, I was a little concerned with the sizes of the sauces because I normally pour sauce all over my bbq but omg the meat was seasoned so well and so tender I have yet to even try the sauce and obviously by my photo the green beans were gone in seconds!I never write reviews on here but I just had to on this one, yes it is a little pricey but pretty much all bbq is and it’s a small business, with price increases and shortages I think this meal is worth every penny.Definitely will be back 10/10.

I wish I could rate this place but every time I call it says open but I just get the answering machine and the one time they did answer they were out of practically everything ?

Brisket was about average taste wise, but extremely expensive. $10.50 for a chopped beef sandwich on a small bun is ridiculous. Learned my lesson and will not be back. I will stick with Bodacious.

Pulled pork nachos are the bomb! Service was fast and the servers were awesome.
