Ryu Sushi Teppanyaki - Gilbert

We had a reservation for 7pm at this restaurant, but didn't get seated until 7:20pm. It took until after 8:20 for a Teppanyaki chef to arrive at our table. Despite the long wait, the chef was excellent and the food was outstanding - the best Teppanyaki we've had in Arizona. The back door was kept open and it was quite chilly, but the staff were accommodating and closed it for a while when we asked. Overall, we would have given a perfect rating if it weren't for the extended wait time.

This restaurant embodies the atmosphere of a high-end establishment, with superior service, high-quality food, and reasonable prices. It is larger than most restaurants and offers a diverse menu of gourmet dishes to please any palate. The owners are hospitable and eager to provide recommendations. A must-visit spot for both lunch and dinner, whether dining solo or with a group.

Owner, Ann, was amazing! Server Che was incredible. Both made suggestions that we ended up loving. I never had the courage to eat Sushi until I was highly encouraged to do so by Che. I was shocked when I ended up loving it. This place also has a great family feel to it, will definitely be going back with my kids very soon.

The food at Ryu Sushi and Teppanyaki was incredibly fresh and delicious. The stuffed shrimp dish was a standout, with just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys shrimp and crab. The Barbie roll was also excellent, with perfectly cooked salmon on top. The service was great and overall, my experience at Ryu Sushi and Teppanyaki was wonderful.

This place was amazing! Our server was friendly and attentive. The chef was fun and engaging. The steaks he prepared were some of the best I have had from being around the world. It was super tender and great flavor. Would love to come back again. Pricing was good as well, pretty on par with other locations we have been to.
