The Gienese Indian enjoys an excellent cook. Thousand flavors in all dishes. A pleasure of perfumes, tastes! not to mention the kindness and courtesy of the server. Thank you for this pleasant moment.
Lived in Indian restaurants in Indre and in Paris, I remain largely on my hunger. The exotic scenery is to be seen and the taste is not at the rendezvous.
When I went to the town of Gien I went to this restaurant despite my reluctance at the beginning given the number of negative opinions. My choice went on a grilled fish, after a long waitress the waitress arrives with a dish in which there is a small portion of rice with pieces of salad on which swim tiny pieces of fish in a little sauce instead of a whole fish. I who is accustomed to the Indian restaurants of Paris I was abasourdi, when I ask the waitress why I don't have grilled fish the only answer she finds is: I also don't understand why the chef did the fish this way. My children were entitled to dishes with rice and small pieces of cold and tasteless chicken as the child menu is non-existent. All dishes were cold despite the restaurant being empty. Usually servings are generous in Indian restaurants. I find it a pity that the restaurant is like that while there is potential and the location is beautiful just in front of the Loire.
Very disappointed and for several reasons. 1 hour waiting on site for a take-away order for 5 people because the boss did not want to take a call while, according to the waitress, it was possible. QUALITY: the worst Indian restaurant to my knowledge, non-existent cheese in the naans, 'fruit' rice is a joke, worse a shame, they don't know what it must be. The dishes carried, not noted, are unrecognizable, the quantities of meats bathed in their sauces are derisory. It is an attack on the reputation of their country's specialties, A FUIR.
