Sal's - Gibbons

Stopped in on our way back from Jurassic forest. We seen it from the highway so we swung in. Very clean and friendly restaurant and the meals came out quickly. The donars are so good here and the kids basically licked there plates clean just loved there cheese burger.

I have been going to Sals for years and never disappointed by the food. Is it gourmet or healthy, not a bit. But if you want a great pizza, burger, or wings etc. this is the place to go. Lasagna, steak sandwich, poutine, chicken Caesar salad, and the donairs are also good. My favourite is the bacon and pepperoni with fresh tomato pizza. Pool table and vlt's and lots of tvs for watching sports.

They always treat me and my family good that's why we are there most Sunday nights (my no cook night)

My sister and I were travelling to Saskatchewan. Unfamiliar roads and communities and yet hungry. And all we wanted was a great burger. Sal's did not disappoint! Finger-licking good!

Stopped in on our way to Jurassic Forest (which was a waste of money btw) to grab a quick bite. The wife and kids got the grilled cheese sandwiches with fries and I grabbed the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Food was ok, nothing special. Sal's Famous Restaurant' sounded good when reading the sign, but we weren't overly impressed, typical in/out burger joint.
