Good place and amazing food but pathetic staff and service

Its an average experience as compared to other bengali resturants over there. kosha msnsho was definately good and worth trying with luchi. Prawn could be way better.

Perfect place for Bengali delicacies. Prices are a bit on the higher side though!

After a long Lock Down period, This was my first Dine In experience. Hence, I chose the Bengali experience as my cuisine of choice to break my “Fast”. Looked up the best Bengali places and reached CoJ. <br/ <br/ A not so impressive location or approach to the first floor restraurant and my first impressions were not very good, to say the least. But I n my fellow, held on and thought of giving a shot to the food. Serving staff is also of very basic level so dont expect much red Carpet treatment, to be honest . <br/ <br/ But the Food is simply Fabulous ! Every item that we tried was absolutely “Joy”..!!<br/ <br/ Mutton Kosha Very mildly spicy so any age group can try and the Gravy was too good ! Mutton pieces also, we perfectly cooked and Mutton itself was Fresh ! 10/10<br/ <br/ Illish Shorshe (Hilsa Mustard) I requested to go easy with Mustard, so they handled it perfectly. Very well done ! Hilsa was perfect, as always...Mustard could preparation could be somewhat improved, I feel. But still a delight ! 9/10..<br/ <br/ Mutton Biryani Perfectly fragarant Rice (great quality rice used BTW) with well cooked Mutton Pieces and both Egg Aalu was nicely crispy done. 10/10<br/ <br/ Luchi (Poori) were also done perfectly. Very Light and not too Oily and neither over crispy nor under cooked. Just perfect. 10/10<br/ <br/ Overall 9 9.3 for Food. I would be coming again, to try more Food items before giving a final rating. Hopefully, This place will be able to maintain the brilliant impression Food Wise and my final rating on Food, may settle at 9.5<br/ <br/ Decor was very minimal, Which is fine. But owners can do better by improving the approach of restraurant (maybe cleaner and better lit Stairs)

THE MOST consistent restaurant we have visited. We have been going here since the past 5 years and it has never failed to impress us and ensure that we visit more often. Every single dish is very authentic and the portion sizes are perfect. Even in home delivery, the food is neatly packed and even during this quanrantine period, it hasn't failed to provide us with fresh and hygienic food. Starting from koraishutir kochuri and kosha mangsho to amshotto chutney, all the dishes are heavenlyWe go and try a new dish every single time and nothing ends up getting packed!! It is surely a MUST VISIT.
