Good food, but extremely expensive. Horrible service based on two encounters. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Absolutely do not go out of your way to go here. And if you’re staying at the Wyndham, you would be best served by driving somewhere else. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

They are not serving any food. I got here Wednesday for a car show. But they don't have any lunch or dinner.

Coworkers and I were at the hotel for an event we stayed at the hotel and decided against going out just by simply seeing the 1863 bar at the hotel. It is aesthetically pleasing and just the right environment in Gettysburg. It’s not often that you have a great experience at a hotel bar but you cannot say that about 1863. We had the opportunity to be served by Tanya. She was absolutely amazing. There is a professionalism and service provided that is unmatched elsewhere. She took time with us, she gave us great drinks with an appropriate balance between amount of alcohol to mixer, had some great offerings, the presentation was on point and everything was done in a timely manner all while approaching close. I appreciated that she took the time to do everything with excellence. With 100% confidence, I can say that you will not be sad that you decided to “stay in” if going to 1863. It is a wonderful choice!
