Bidrage med feedbackWe arrived in town around 1pm and there were so many people in all the restaurants, but we were able to get a table here. We sampled a few different starters like grilled prawns, scampi and octopus, but our highlight was the hake and clam soup. There were two big fillets of hake, in a lovely broth. By the time of the main course, every table was full and people were queuing to be seated. The bill was high, but not unreasonable for such good quality seafood.
Very close to the fishing market and with a good outside terrace. Had a wine and some Spanish omelette for less than 3 euro. Nice place.
We dropped in Itxaso for lunch after a good walk around El Raton. It was good simple Basque food, cheaper than you're likely to find it elsewhere in Getaria. The five rating is mainly for value, because it is a little basic. However, I do seriously recommend it.
