Bidrage med feedbackWe had an early dinner and were welcomed by a new Canadian waitress who showed us to the upstairs dining area. Great service, lovely food and wine. We would go again, and again.
This place looked like it would be good but was a disappointment. I had the curry and it looked and tasted like it came out of a sachet, revolting. If you want rice with your curry you have to order that (and pay) as an extra. Since when does curry not come with rice ? No one told us this was the case so we were just served curry, nothing else. Even the kids complained about their spaghetti bolognese. The chicken parmigiana was $30 and very ordinary. Don't recommend. Go somewhere else.
Having just flown in to Geraldton from Perth on a Sunday evening, this place appeared conveniently close to the hotel I was staying in, especially as there is little choice in terms of what's open for dinner, and the hotel doesn't have a restaurant!Unfortunately I must say they have a captive market and thus charge accordingly- a steak sandwich smothered with BBQ sauce at $18.There are some good restaurants around here, it's just that they are not open on a Sunday night.
I caught up with my brother and sister inlaw on this visit to Geraldton. My brother had the steak and prawn special, which he enjoyed. My sister inlaw had a seafood and creamy pasta dish. She was very happy with the amount of seafood. I had a BLT Sandwich which had very thick toasted bread, plus a small salad on a wooden board. It was a little dry, not a lot of bacon, and I really dislike those wooden boards, but my family were happy and enjoyed their milkshakes too.
In agreement with MarkNQR about the T-bone steak. The waiter didn't ask how well done we wanted the steak, and in view of how thin it was, there was only one possibility. The Shiraz was almost warm, so we asked for a bucket of ice and got a glass of ice instead. My French colleague was shocked to have to put ice in his wine glass.
