Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I are staying in the area for a week in a local campground. Prior to grocery shopping for the cabin we were looking for something for supper healthier than burgers and fries which at our age isn’t recommended. At one time “Queen’s” may have been a prosperous and beloved establishment. Today it appears that current management is taking the approach of charging exorbitant prices $80 for two adults, no alcohol) for less than average meals in a dark, smelly dingy restaurant which seems to be falling apart at the seams. There is a “for sale” sign out front. The best thing that could happen for “Queen’s” would be new management to take over.
Service was extremely slow And the environment was not appealing. We didn't enjoy our meal. We would not recommend this restaurant
My wife bought some chinese food to go today The amount we received for $35 tax was about the same as $20 would buy you anywhere else. Who would think they could screw up fried rice? it was tasteless and extremely undercooked like chewing on a mouthful of tiny pellets! The chicken balls were also without taste and the red sweet and sour sauce to soak them in tasted like sugar water. The beef and vegetables were stale and the beef very tough As my title suggests first time and last time!
Were we in town for a few days and tried a different restaurant each night. This one was a been there, done that, not doing again . The portions were small, the prices high and the bathroom had a horrible musty smell to it. I couldn 't wait to get out of there.
I was in the area of this restaurant at a nearby fishing resort. I am from Wisconsin. My mother, brother 's girlfriend, and myself came to Geraldton one afternoon to do a little shopping and look around. This was one of the two restaurants open in the town so we decided to have lunch here. The owner was rather rude and blunt with us. We asked minimal questions and he would laugh in our faces and stated at one point I can tell you are not from here, you don 't know anything . One thing I do know is that every other restaurant I have been to is accommodating to requests made, he would not make any exceptions to the dishes besides what was listed on the menu which leads me to believe they were frozen pre-made meals . Our drinks were canned soda, poured in a glass, and when we asked for water he filled our soda glasses with water. You also need a key to use the indoor bathroom. Also their homemade egg rolls as the menus states, were far from that. They were freezer burned packaged egg rolls. Would I go back? If i desperately needed to eat processed food and this was the only place open in town again...then maybe. Also our bills were astronomically high, and he questioned why we needed to be on separate checks and couldn 't be all on one.
