Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant in Bulgaria offers the best service, bar none. My wife and I first visited ten years ago and were blown away by the atmosphere, cuisine, and staff. To celebrate our anniversary, we returned to the same place and were met with the same exceptional service. Despite a small hiccup with our reservation, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. The food, especially the Picatta Milanese with parmesan, was delicious, and the wine selection was top-notch. The service was unparalleled, just as it was a decade ago. The historical building, designed by a famous Bulgarian architect from the 19th century, and charming garden added to the overall experience. A christening party with a talented musician providing jazz/lounge/dinner music made the evening even more special. We cannot wait to return. Many thanks to the entire staff. We will be back soon!
Since not hungry we just ordered 3 dish. The Bulgarian salad is recommended, you can try different types together. But the bread is no good, it was too greasy and taste a bit bitter. The pork neck is too dry but the taste is good, which shows the quality of rough material but also poor of cooking. The mushrooms is recommended, very good combination with cheese. Also I have to highlight the service, the young lady is really nice and polite.
Service was amazing! The two waitresses were so professional and sweet. The food (I only had a salad) was also delicious, and the atmosphere was gorgeous.
I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating because when we tried to visit on June 5th, 2023 in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, the restaurant was closed. It may have been closed due to the national holiday in Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece, but other restaurants were still open. Despite Han Hadji recently ranking 2nd or 3rd on TripAdvisor, we were looking forward to dining there again since we had a great experience with delicious food in 2018.
The waiters are very helpful and kind. The food and the atmosphere are very good. The building is a part of the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage and when you stay in the restaurant you feel like you go back in the Renaissance.
