Wildfish Grill - Georgetown

A fun location with generous drinks and tasty cuisine; all of their staff are polite, quick to serve and we appreciated them telling us a bit about the area as we enjoyed our ice cold beverages. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, a cheery down to earth kind of gal with a great sense of humor great taste in unique decor.

Horrible food awful service. Do not come here!!! Greasy, undercooked and the waitress seemed to think she was doing us a favor to take our order.

I recently came in and had a few shrimp tacos and the blue cheese mac-and-cheese. The tacos were alright, but there as a problem with the mac-and-cheese. Some ingredient, possibly the cream, had gone really, really bad and it was disgusting. I sent it back and then asked the waitress if they chef tried it to see what I was talking about, and she said no. Then I asked her if the chef tasted it before he sent it out, and she said that they trust their 'recipe ratios ' and chefs don 't taste the food here. [Direct quote. And that is why I will never eat there again. There 's something wrong with the training in a kitchen where the chefs are not tasting the food they send out. That means when something goes wrong, it happens in the customers ' mouths. This kind of incompetence needs urgent correction.

I've had way better waitresses. She didn't seem interested in us. There was no one in the restaurant. The HUSHPUPPIES SUCK. Don't order them. But the outside searing is decorated cute. I had lobster bisque and it was alright, however they special board had something I tried to order and they didn't even have it. I asked for some spice because I was trying to enjoy the HUSHPUPPIES more but it didn't work at all, she just never came back

At the entrance of the restaurant A woman was sitting in an outdoor booth smoking and after a long exhale towards us told us to go on in that someone would be with us shortly. We went on in this nautically decorated place, seated ourselves , waited 10 , never greeted , left . sad place.
