Bidrage med feedbackThis is our way to the Chinese restaurant for any family catchment or celebration. lin the owner, is always pleasant and helpful and nothing seems to be too much annoyed for them. like most Chinese restaurants, we have our favourite dishes and they are never disappointed. with the quality or size of the served. if you want to eat good with friendly service, you should give the golden terrace a walk.
Eating was pretty good, but not as good as tan had it. service was a little lacking and presentation a little off, but overall an OK eating experience.
Delicious chinese food at georges hall, fast service, good prices, this connection was there for long time, shop ownertime cranky, but in general one of my favorite Chinese esswaren
We often go to dinner or get some away due to our busy lifestyles. we love golden terrace asian food restaurant because it is a good value for money and eating is always very tasty. there is also a very large selection of food. the owner of the restaurant is very friendly and will soon know its customers with names or their usual order. we tried different places in our opposite but golden terrance is really the best.
We wanted to go out for a quick easy chinese meal, but despite having four restaurants nearby, none of them had us licking our lips. So a quick search of Tripadvisor and here we are at Golden Terrace. We went at 6.30 on a cold... wet Friday night. Parked outside the front door. The restaurant was reasonably quiet. We sat away from the front door and counter so I wasn 't able to see how much take away business they did. The restaurant is licenced and BYO $2 pp corkage and there is a bottle shop next door. We were warmly greeted upon arrival from reading other reviews this was Tan . Drink orders were taken promptly and a plate of prawn crackers was placed on the table. Some of us had soups to start. All lovely. Also ordered the Gow Gees but the kids ate them before I could try one. I tried to order the vietnamese spring rolls referred to in a review below but the waitress didn 't seem to know anything about them. Not sure if they are a 'secret menu ' item or just the normal ones. Anyway the ones we got were nice. For mains we got the regular offenders Honey King Prawns not sickly sweet , Sweet Sour Pork again not sickly sweet or gluggy , Mogolian Lamb, and Satay Chicken as well as a boiled rice and a Special Fried Rice. All were delicious, lovely flavours and goid sized servings. Special mention has to go to the Spicy Salt Pepper Calamari strips not rings . These were either the best, or equal best, I have ever had. Lovely light batter soft and tasty squid inside. Perfectly cooked. The service was very good, and the dishes were staggered not all mains dumped at once or mains arriving 30 seconds after entrees. We were offered dessert but were all full so we 'll call him Tan offered a complimentary scoop of ice cream and topping to each of the kids while we finished our drinks. Crowd pleaser! As far as 'burb ' chinese food goes, this one will not disappoint. Like previous reviewers have said, this place is worth the drive and it 's our new 'semi local '. Makes me actually look forward to chinese meals again. I have rated it 5 stars because I compared it to other local efforts not city rsstaurants or it would be 4+ combined with the flavours and portion sizes. Cost $20pp 4 adults 3 young teens and we were all full, 2 of the mains were seafood, and corkage but no alcohol included.
