The Deacon House - George

Lovely warm atmosphere. Service was friendly and quick. We had Anthea and she was really great. Food was fantastic. We ordered a quiche and a slice of cake to share. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We came here for breakfast! So delicious, vegan options available. Very tasty food with an outstanding service. We could sit outside, which was beautiful, with the garden around. But also inside it is stunning. We will be back here for sure.

Will recommend it for business and social settings. The staff are amazing, food is good, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The setting is amazing, lush gardens, the fireplaces and couches for winter days, the plug points for laptops, being shielded against loadshedding and free WiFi are all positives

Update: 5 May 1023 Excellent service and delicious food. Such lovely surroundings! Lovely decor, beautiful garden and excellent coffee. Lunches menu looks good, but haven't tried it yet.

Landed in George and stopped over at the Deacon House for early lunch...the food was great, lovely waiters and a beautiful setting with the garden and the mountain in the background. Would definitely recommend the place.
