Giri - Gent Belgie

I decided to try Giri for brunch/lunch because I appreciate that they serve breakfast past noon and offer an extensive menu. Overall, Giri did not disappoint. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, a citrus bowl, and a fried egg with bacon. The latte was sweet with a subtle pumpkin flavor, the citrus bowl was refreshing and delicious, and the egg with bacon was a tasty addition. Giri is situated in a lovely location overlooking the Leie river, although our table was positioned near the entrance. However, this did not detract from our experience. We had lunch at this restaurant today and ordered the salmon toast and burrata toast. We both loved our meals and found them to be just the right amount for lunch. We will definitely be returning! The price per person is around €20–30. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 4 out of 5.

Didn’t book but were lucky to get two seats at the bar. It’s very popular so best to book beforehand. Food was delicious and fresh, coffee was good but tea lacked flavour (English breakfast tea). Service was friendly and a very nice atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
