Le Grotte - GENGA

I was expecting much more when I made reservations for this restaurant. We stayed in the hotel, and it is certainly convenient to not have to travel out to dine, since the hotel is set in the middle of a gorge. Our server did not understand English, and the restaurant was not well attended by support staff. We had the table wine, and it was fine as most Italian table wines are. The menu had many local selections on it. I ordered assorted lamb cuts, and they were fine, but not spectacular. The cost of the meal was not that pricey, and that resolved some of the disappointment in using up a meal on this location. Bottom line is that there are several really great restaurants in the area (see my other posts) and I would not use up a meal on this restaurant again, though my rating is not bad, it is not special.

I ate at the hotel restaurant on two nights whilst staying here on business. The menu is limited but I found the food to be fresh and well-prepared and much better than I would expect from this type of hotel. Recommended.

This was a very pleasant experience: the food (mostly regional specialities from the Marche: great pasta's and very tastfull meat) was excellent and the Marchese wines were great. The service was seamless and the personnel was very kind and helpfull. The dining room was spacious. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel as much as dining in the restaurant: we would return immediately

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante all'interno dell'hotel le grotte dove siamo stati da gennaio a gennaio. Dai commenti letti su tripadvisor ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di più. il servizio è stato in media più di qualsiasi cosa per quel sentimento di poca presenza, i piatti offerti sono stati apprezzati ma sempre per il nostro goto personale manacavano di personalità, il cinghiale al cacciatore buono ma non emozionante. che dire considerando il rapporto qualità prezzo eravamo poco eccitati.
