Waterfront Kitchen - Geelong

Had a quick lunch before going to the Football. Great food at reasonable price. Fantastic outlook over the Bay.

Before attending a concert at Costa Hall we dined at the Waterfront Kitchen which is opposite Cunningham Pier. It was a lovely spot, the staff were friendly and attentive. This was a busy night with concert goers wanting to eat. Our waitress arrived promptly with menus and water, she returned after not a long wait and we ordered. She answered any questions we had of the menu and wine and was knowledgeable of the products, she also had a nice sense of humour. Our food was good and well presented the wine also. Overall we did enjoy this meal and the location. On a pleasant day the outside area would be great with a good view of the water.

We had breakfast at the Waterfront Kitchen this morning, service was quick and we found the staff very friendly. This building is part of Deakin University - lots of history about this great building. My husband had the Waterfront Big Breakfast- the baked beans were a little spicy, I think home made? and the meal was very good. I had the corn fritters brekky with a side of sour dough toast - lovely

My wife and I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning after dining at Restaurant Igni. Service was a little slow. We both ordered Muesli. The muesli was quite strange - mostly puffed grain (wheat, rice?) with some seeds, spoon of yogurt and a jam like compote. Further, it was a very dry offering which was served without milk. Upon request they provided milk but were surprised we needed it. Overall a strange meal. We were offered coffee when first served but I said I would have it after the muesli. The service person never returned for the coffee order.Won’t be going back.

Only popped in for morning cuppa but the staff were very attentive and helpful. Tea and coffee were excellent and the ambience was first class. The lunch menu looked very good and judging by the number of guests who were eating there the local clientele were being well served. It's a lovely building with a bright and airy restaurant and ample outside space as well.
