Costa Coffee - Gedling

My husband goes to this restaurant 3-4 times a week, and I visit about once every two weeks. The coffee and breakfast are always hot and fresh, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. They are always friendly and helpful, but Jacob is the standout. He is incredibly welcoming, knows exactly what you want, takes the time to ask how you are, and makes a fantastic coffee while also being quick and efficient. I've observed him with other customers, and he truly makes you feel like you are the only one in the cafe, not just the next person in line. Jacob is a true asset to Costa and the reason we keep coming back.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a variety of coffee options, including Christmas specials. They also offer a selection of sandwiches, some of which can be heated up. The service is top-notch as well.

I've been a customer of this Costa since it opened a few years ago I enjoy the hot and cold drinks along with a good range of pastries, cakes and toasties The staff here are great! So friendly and efficient. However, there are regularly groups of customers often 6 or 8) who take over large areas of the cafe. They may buy 2 or 3 drinks between them but proceed to unwrap a picnic of sandwiches and pies etc from home, drinks appear from shopping bags and their little party starts. Even worse, one of them will disappear then return with a Gregg's chicken or steak bake from the nearby outlet; sometimes with a Gregg's coffee or 2!! This is a blatant abuse of Costa's hospitality; it shouldn't be tolerated and wouldn't if I was the manager

Had a bus ride to Arnold and called in to costa coffee for drink the staff were vary helpful the place was clean.

Called into Costa Arnold this morning, queued near the door, sign said masks must be worn in store. . The member of staff behind counter continually asked me to wait outside even though there was only one waiting in front of me. No one, including staff were wearing g masks inside, and after being delayed for 5/10 minutes, for no good reason, we came away. Don 't think we will be going back to Costa Arnold as I thought the staff member was rude and condisending. Not happy to be honest.
