Bidrage med feedbackFirst off we are here in Gatlinburg on vacation. We decided to get a pizza to eat In our hotel located right next door to Ginos. We specifically ordered their loaded pepperoni pizza. Well unfortunately it was far from loaded. In fact 2 slicesdidn't even have pepperoni on them. Most of the slices only had 2 maybe 3 pieces of pepperoni on them. How can you call thisa loaded pepperoni pizza when it barely had any on it. This is no way to run a business. Poor work ethic, lazy employees, orowners who just don't care. This is one way to lose business. No one wants to pay for subpar service and food items lackingthe items detailed in their menu. The pizza tasted decent but topping wise was lacking. Maybe if enough people read thesereviews maybe their business will significantly decline and maybe someone over there will wake up and take control and run thatplace more efficiently. I've read a lot of reviews on this place some were good but more bad out weighed the good. Foranyone out of town on vacation avoid this place at all cost. Don't waste your money on very low quality subpar product. You've been warned buy at your own risk. I guarantee you'll be disappointed. The worst pizza in Gatlinburg. My advise order fromPapa John's across the street behind Flapjacks.
We went yesterday I felt bad for the poor girl that was there. She was the manager and it was 630 and she didn't have a employee one show up yet but yet she still manage to take on our big order make it and box it up all in a matter of 15 minutes on top ofanswering other calls and making other food. She was the real rockstar cause me personally wouldn't have been able to handle arestaurant all by myself. And the food came out perfect and hot. You would have never known she was by herself with the qualityof food and service. Kudos to her for being there even when no one else was and being the real MVP of what you would call themanager of a restaurant in a tourist town. I know personally I would have locked up the store and went home but here it was ahour and a half of being open and none of her employees had showed up besides her. I came in with a big order and after seeingher by herself I told her nevermind I didn't want to throw that on her. She insisted and told me no she would take the order Itold her I was not in a big rush to take her time and she got all my food out hot and fresh within 15 minutes. Geno's has alwaysbeen our go to pizza when we've came to town.
We have dined here before, and I must say that this time the pizza wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I'm not sure what went wrong, but it seemed like they skimped on the toppings. Both the pizza and the cheese bread were overly salty, and they also didn't have any black olives. I really don't want to give them a negative review, so I'm settling on a middle rating. There could be factors happening behind the scenes that we're not aware of—perhaps they were having a rough day or were short-staffed.
The pizza is decent if you're not too particular. We ordered the Geno's special, but the toppings were haphazardly scattered, with black olives placed randomly. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.
We had a fantastic experience at Geno's Pizza! The Philly cheesesteak sub and wings were delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the manager even gave us a 50% discount for our next visit as a thank you for enjoying their amazing food. We can't wait to return! Thanks to everyone at Geno's Pizza!
