Snack-Shack - Gatineau

My first time trying today. Poutine taste great, not underfried as McD or overburned as Harvey's. It was just right. The fish tasted great, Tartar souse, not sure if it is made there or from the store, tastes not strong on the ingredients, just as I like. Fish is fried, not soggy. Chicken burger was good, fulfilling, spicy (I had Buffalo). Will be back to try more menu options.

This restaurant serves the best poutine in the area. We have tried many places, but none of them compare. We have been there five times and each time it was excellent!

The food at this restaurant is usually very good, and I don't mind waiting because it is so delicious. However, I had a disappointing experience yesterday when I bit into a bone while eating a wrap. It appeared to only have two chicken strips in it, and I was unable to finish my meal after the incident. I also received the wrong wrap, but that was not as concerning as the bone. I will still eat here in the future, but I hope the staff will be more careful when preparing their meats.
