Without a doubt the best restaurant in Gatineau/Ottawa! We go there regularly, in fact we have to restrain ourselves from going more often! The food is full of authentic flavors. It's a cozy little restaurant with a typically Peruvian ambiance. It's a family business that offers us meals made with passion and takes pride in introducing us to the world-renowned gastronomy of Peru. We have been going there on average once a week for a few years now and we have never been disappointed with the meals we have been served. It's always delicious and the portions are always generous. Everything needed to get us hooked! We even use their catering services for big family gatherings! I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but so far my top 3 are definitely the fried fish fillet, the seco, and the lomo saltado. Accompanied by their traditional drink, the pisco sour, it's hard to beat! I can guarantee that you'll want to order a second glass! My husband, being from Peru, can't do without the famous ceviche de pescado con jalea. He says Amazonas offers an excellent ceviche, meeting his expectations, and he asks for more with each visit. We are very privileged to have such a good restaurant less than 5 minutes away! If you pass by, don't hesitate to stop. You won't regret it! This little restaurant is a true gem! We really adore this charming restaurant in the neighborhood. There are no fake facades or tricks; just tasty, fresh, and flavorful Peruvian dishes. The service is quick and friendly, and the portion sizes are generous. If you have the chance, try the buffet. You won't be disappointed. This place is a hidden gem in the community.

Best restaurant in town! The food is outstanding and a beautiful alternative to conventional Canadian food. The prices are amazing for this home cooked culinary treasure lovely people and a great place to bring children. The best is the ALL you can eat BUFFET every last Sunday of the month this just lets you try everything else : Includes a nice terrace ! We'll be back soon!
