Famous Toastery - Garner

We recently moved from Charleston, SC, and noticed that a new restaurant had opened there just before we left. I had wanted to try it but never got the chance. Once we settled in and spotted this place right down the road, we decided to give it a try on a Sunday, and we were blown away! We ordered the corn cowhash, and it was simply fantastic. The following weekend, a friend visited us in the city, and we ended up going there both Saturday and Sunday! We make it a point to try something new each time, and we've never been disappointed. They offer mimosas and Bloody Marys, and the staff is wonderful! Plus, they play great music. It’s official—we’ve found our go-to brunch spot in NC!

My friend suggested we meet for breakfast the other day, and I have to say, I was lucky she introduced me to this place. The service was not only quick but also incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. I have no complaints at all and will definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

The service here is quick, and the food is delicious. On Saturdays, there’s usually a wait of about 15 to 20 minutes. A typical meal for two comes to around $30, including a 15-20% tip. On my recent visit (January 19, 2019), I tried the cookie gravy, which was fantastic, though I think they could be a bit more generous with the sausage. I also ordered the "Breakfast for Squirrels," and it was impressively large. This dish is definitely worth a try. My partner opted for the California breakfast with hard-poached eggs, and she really enjoyed it. While I usually prefer soft-poached eggs, I must say they did a great job with the hard-poached as well. I appreciate that they offer raw sugar as an option for coffee; it adds a nice touch. In summary, this place serves excellent food and provides great service.

Very good place for breakfast. Ordered a western omelette with potatoes and toast with coffee. Came out crazy fast. Very fresh and alot of food I couldn't finish it all. Servers were very polite and attentive. 5 stars

Twice here the club sandwich is not sweat and the speck is amazing. service is quite good considering that any server motto is, although a little work could use. feels strange to stop someone who didn't serve them for refilling and dinge. besides this eating was great, staff very friendly. husband and I have enjoyed a lot and will definitely be back.
