Bidrage med feedbackSlow service (an hour between order and starter arrive) and when the main course finally arrived, the kartoffels were the resistance of a fixed apfels. hmm. the management tried their best, but a replacement plate of sweetness, which all turned out, in the point of the near -raw. no amount of bread basket replacement (we eat mainly brot) could compensate for our disappointing experience. we ate two nights in a row. in the first night I would be 4/5, the second 2/5. I would arrive immediately as soon as the restaurant is open (lates 8 o'clock). obviously in the second night, when there were four tables of two people throughout the restaurant they were overwhelmed in the kitchen.
The prizes outweigh the worth here, we went our first night, but decided a second night. eating was not extraordinary. 30 € per cursor for small portions does not work for me. they were not unforgettable either. beautiful hotel. did not love the restaurant.
The resteraunt has a pleasant ambiente is well ordered and the personal pleasant and helpful. but I get the impression that it's a little too hard to be a gourmet or a melancholy star. weeds like canines with senfeis, calf tongue with...salt toffee and skallops with celberry sauce do not impress me! good eating well cooked. we ate there several times during our visit and although the service was excellent neither my wife could say we had really unforgettable meal
This side of ligurien has often been forgotten by the luxury travel world. but there are some exceptions that should not be missed. la meridiana is probably one of them. it is a kind of refinement and good taste in the heart of the golf of garlenda. When they arrive, they are surprised by a beautiful park, a warm welcome and a tastefully decorated lobby. the restaurant appears stylish and charming. the staff are attentive and (if they are friendly with them) they become immediately less formal and gentle on the real wise. the welcome of the owner is very professional. he loves his place and it shows. you are a true guest of his country house. eating was very good overall.
The first time I experienced this restaurant was long ago, at a sumptuous wedding reception by the swimming pool. Perfection was the byword, under all aspects location, service, cuisine, wines. I returned recently and had a cosy dinner in their inner Bistrot. Luxury is...present, but in a subtle way: not in an often grandiose, trashy exhibition of riches, rather in an understated British sense, with loving attention for every small detail. The owner is Edoardo, tall, suave, and who can easily pass for an English gentleman, also thanks to his flawless English. He's also the wine expert. The head waiter is middle-aged and super kind, as are the very young waitresses. The aperitif was served in front of the splendid picture windows and came with tiny but agreeable amuse-bouches, consisting of artichoke stems, cheese and crisp focaccia. We were then escorted to the dining room, where we chose to sit by the fireplace and selected the chef's suggestions. The first course was a vegetarian version of carbonara, with asparagus in lieu of bacon, delicate but filling; the main course consisted of the chef's version of coniglio alla ligure (Ligurian-style rabbit stew), a revelation. Before and between courses we nibbled on a little plate of delicious olives and dipped their home made bread and breadsticks in very subtle, mild olive oil. Needless to say, all products are local, including the fragrant herbs that flatter every dish rosemary, thyme, basil and so on. The portions are on the small side, although for me this isn't a fault. We by-passed the desserts and were served espresso coffee with some irresistible, soft and juicy, candied orange peel. In addition to two flutes of prosecco and meal for two, our important bill included cover charges, water and two glasses of pleasant Rossese of Albenga. The charm was priceless.
