Crazy Catfish - Garland

The oysters were cooked flawlessly, and the catfish shrimp was outstanding as well.

Sometimes you crave a fancy night out, and other times you just want to kick back and enjoy delicious food. When my daughter came home from school, she insisted we visit her favorite casual restaurant for dinner. The fish is cooked fresh and to order, and it tastes amazing when you eat in. However, if you decide to take it to go, be sure to live nearby, or it might get soggy—nobody wants soggy fish! The restaurant is small and has a charming, nostalgic feel, but it’s also very clean. We absolutely love Crazy Catfish!

The food was freshly made, but the fish and shrimp were similar to what you would find at any seafood restaurant—nothing particularly remarkable. The fish was cut very thin, and although the shrimp were butterflied, they were quite small and had more batter than shrimp. I would suggest giving this place a try. As someone from Louisiana, I'm accustomed to a range of fish flavors, and while the meal was decent, it didn't quite match the expectations. Nevertheless, I would certainly think about dining here again if I’m in the vicinity!
