Mika Sushi - Garden Grove

We just got here !! Very nice , small and intimate!! Miso soup was delicious!! The sushi bar is big enough to seat about 12 comfortably!!

The wait staff made the experience uncomfortable and embarrassing. the waitress mocked our order size not only at our table but at the other wait staff as well. when preparing to leave the same waitress lied about the interaction and claimed innocence. the entire dinner was delicious but extremely awkward after her comments.

First time there, Steve was great and the good was awesome. Highly recommend.

I think this is our current favorite sushi place. My husband loves this place because they don't put cucumber inside the rolls. Husband doesn't like cucumbers so it's a win for him. Also, they are very generous with avocado so we love it. My favorite is the eel roll and husband always orders the rainbow roll. My kids can eat the rolls too so the place is definitely a family friendly restaurant for us. Their special is awesome for buy 3 get one free roll so price comes out very reasonable during this economy.

Always good food. The waiter was somewhat aloof and left a little to be desired. And, just as a heads up, music should be playing very subtly in the background. Not so loud that it makes it difficult to have an intimate conversation. I nicely asked the waiter twice if he could lower the volume. He complied the 1st time but not the second. It really made it a less enjoyable experience.
