The Universal - Galway

They were able to accommodate a large group of us day of, which was amazing. The staff could not have been more attentive throughout the dinner. The food was amazing. We ordered 2 of everything on the menu and it was a perfect amount of food for our group. The drinks were so good. It is in a great area to hang out before and after dinner. Will definitely be back when I’m back in Galway.

Really hospitable staff, made our group feel right at home as if in our own slice of Galway. Cocktails are to die for and the staff is more than happy to adjust to tastes! Great spot to relax, enjoy some unique well thought out dishes and their amazing selection of wines and local spirits. Will definitely be coming back!

Food is really nice flavours , beautifully presented , simple good produce , however for the price youre paying the service should match it , far too casual on some occasions dining there , cutlery slapped down , no check ups , but its worth a visit for the food , but it could be a much better dining experience with a finer tuned blend of casual and good service that matches the food.

A surprisingly excellent choice for food. Great selections for wine and cocktails. The menu although small offers delectable triumphs of taste.

An absolute hidden gem, staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was fantastic!Watermelon, feta basil salad was a surprising and delightful combo as was the beet, cherry, yoghurt and almond salad. Sirloin with tarragon mustard butter was sensational. Chocolate torte was to die for, great shared with the strawberries and cream dessert. A MUST VISIT. Congratulations Universal, spectacular.
