Java's - Galway

The food is tasty. I love that they are open until late. The service depends on who is working that day. There are a couple of people who are too confident and unpleasant. I was told there were no free tables one day. Then I asked if I can wait for one to be free, but they basically made me feel like they want me to go away and leave them alone. I waited outside and there was a table for us in like 5 minutes. Actually there were plenty free tables when we got upstairs. We were asked which one we prefer. I almost walked away because of an unpleasant person, in the rain, having to look for another place to dine in. Be it sweet or savoury, if you’re in Galway, Java won’t disappoint!! It’s one of the cutest little cafes with really cool decor and the staff being so friendly and smily makes the over all place a really cool vibe. The crepes are AMAZING and there’s such a wide variety on their menu. This place is definitely a little gem. Amazing FIND. Never judge a book by its cover is the term I would use to this coffee shop. Not much of an impact from the outside, but the outstanding food quality and cozy ambiance is a plus. Their coffee is nice. Service on the hand, was somehow poor and not so friendly. And, hence the reason for only 4*. Get the service right and 5* will start to pile up.

Very nice decorated place. If you're hungry at breakfast don't ask French or you're going to starve. Better order the crepe. Nice place to repeat.

Gorgeous cafe in the heart of galway, fancied crepes for breakfast so we went here and got the €12.95 menu meal which was tea/coffee, crepe of the day and dessert of the day! We were served a huge crepe with bacon, spinach and cheese and our dessert was red velvet cake. Delicious authentic food for such good value. Lovely atmosphere too and staff were friendly and helpful
