Bidrage med feedbackWe always go there, they have a full on butcher shop, with amazing meats, cheese and salami. The restaurant is very nice looking, with some pic nic tables outside.
The service was great. Starter enormous so couldn’t eat the main. Be careful how much you order. Choose the main and don’t have a selection as there are a couple of fatty sausages on it. Quite expensive for the area but if you like meat go.
Maybe it was because we hadn’t booked and on this particular evening there was a problem with flying ants but our experience wasn’t that good. We were greeted in a friendly way and were served drinks whilst we waited for an available table. There were flying ants everywhere! On the plates and in our glasses. That’s not the hosts fault but it made the evening worse. First there is no menu so you rely on the staff to suggest dishes. They were very busy and the staff were rushed. We had mixed cold meats and veg to start as suggested and mixed cooked meats to follow. Old man enjoyed the cold meat platter but the mixed veg was just deep fried aubergine which was tasteless and so I didn’t eat it. I don’t like batter! Then some skewers arrived. Over cooked and again not for me. We waited ages to get a bottle of water and second glass of wine as the waiting staff were oblivious to diners on the whole. The main meat platter was ok but again not cooked particularly well and very basic. The side order of potatoes was cold and hard. I wouldn’t go back as there are so many wonderful restaurants in this area that I much prefer with home cooked tasty dishes. It’s all about the concept and less about the taste in my opinion. Shame as nice venue and good atmosphere.

Posto bellissimo, ottima carne personale cordiale e qualificato. Possibilità di bere dell'ottimo vino. Qualità/prezzo ottima, lo consiglio vivamente.
