Mike's And Grill - Galesville

This was a real find. We arrived in town too late for the sole cafe in town. The patrons at the gas station recommended Mike's. I had one of the best burgers ever and my husband had a crispy chicken cordon blue sandwich, which he said was great. We met the owner and learned the history of the bar and the area. It was a fun, great lunch.

Mike's Bar has become one of my go to places for food. The current owners have brightened up the place. the food is good but don't expect anything fancy. Their pizzas are good and each month they offer a special pizza along with the traditional pizzas.

First time trying the pizza. Unfortunately, I didn't care for it. The crust was hard. Toppings were portioned well. Although the cheese was, in my opinion, too much. Fortunately, the fried green beans were amazing and the fried mushrooms were good. Will visit again, just won't be getting pizza.
